Easter is the perfect time for going down rabbit holes—mostly to keep me away from discussing religion or politics and risking the peace with my gentle readers.
I came back to reread. So much in here! I learned quite a lot. And yes, the cardinal - such a magnificent tiny creature. I don't believe seeing one is a sign someone deceased is visiting, but then again... it's a lovely thought. And definitely fits with my theme this week about finding beauty!
If you get to know me you know I go down rabbit holes and research everything: - Cardinals are often associated with positive symbolism in various cultures. In many traditions, cardinals are seen as messengers from the spiritual realm, representing loved ones who have passed away.
There are other traits attributed to them. And Cardinals are beautiful. The all red male was in the lead and safely crossed in front of my car. I'm glad she was able to make a sharp U-turn.
Cardinals are important to me as well. We have a nesting pair in the bushes of our building. They stay all winter as well. We see them at the feeders we will put up again this fall..
Thank you, Judith. We have a cardinal's nest under construction in the apse of the picnic table umbrella. This is the third year. 😎
Someone wants to stay nearby. That's a good sign.

Jean, I can think of two souls who will remain close to you, one a male and one a female. I know they bring you comfort old friend.
She did it again...
