The 2026 Women’s History Month theme is “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future,” announced by the National Women’s History Alliance. It honors women who are rebuilding systems for long-term environmental, economic, and social sustainability, promoting equity, justice, and opportunity.
Last week I wrote about women breaking ceilings and how dangerous it was to report sexual harassment. In my case, I was able to handle myself by making jokes and thanking the men for their attention while firmly stating I did not accept advances from men I worked with. There was one major client who refused to buy a Kraft product. I told my boss who confronted him by asking - what exactly is it that you want my sales rep to do? The perp stuttered and said he wanted me to change the date I called on the business.
In my friends case, she had no one to come to her aide because her boss was the one who wanted explicit sexual favors.
You reminded me of Anita Hill and her Case against Clarence Thomas. We all know how that played out.
