Ona’s Tears
Spreading the news
When I performed my first book read on November 16 at the Maryland Writers Association Author Showcase, I met several talented Maryland authors, including Mark Hannon and Naomi Rivers. We connected over our shared niche audiences and love for Baltimore.
My next two book signing events are taking me right back to the heart of my family saga, Ona’s Tears. They take place in two venues mentioned in my book acknowledgements. These establishments and their patrons have given me the encouragement needed to make Ona’s Tears a reality.
On November 29, 2025, I will be at Old Major from 12:00 - 5:00 pm.
Parts One and Three are set in “Pig Town” Baltimore and revolve around the B & O Railroad and the garment industry. This is the heart of my Baltimore setting and within close walking distance of the places I write about.
The second event on December 7, 2025, will reach another niche market: Lithuanians who either know the history behind my novel or want to know more about it.
Can’t make it? Here’s how you can still support Ona’s Tears:
I encourage those of you from the greater Baltimore area to come to one or both local events! For those not able to attend, please spread the word:
Find Ona’s Tears at major booksellers online and in stores.
It can be ordered by Independent Bookstores.
Most importantly: You can ask your local library to order a copy!
Please also share my Substack with others who might be interested. I will continue to post pictures and interesting facts about writing my novel (without spoilers!).
